I like that.
KOTH has to be the fastest OEM framed bike. Thats the way it has been and always should be.
I like "dash for Cash" and I think we should do that at the end.
the problem lies with exactly when. Maybe after trophies are handed out, so it does not diminish from that, or maybe before trophies so that people can stay and watch somebody get that cash??

We need to figure out the best way to put some serious crdibility in the "all motor" champions. Maybe have that one the biggest payout?
Maybe have that the last race?
Maybe have that the guy on the next shirt/flyer?

National Championship #1's are a great idea. The championship is looking better already.

Great idea!

This is truly earning a title by making the series championship prestigous.

I say run it before trophy handout Everybody still wants their name called and recognized for the accomplishment including the builders. I have to say I like how we all debate it and come up with solutions. I think this type of input will make this series the bomb.

Bruce what if that monster of yours blows off a sproket early on in the races and you lose your Poweradder race, to a bike that is to say the least, Slow. If the race schedule was spaced far enough apart that you were able to get another sproket on your bike and enter the koth, dont you think that would cool that you would still have a chance to race somemore and maybe take home the trophey that mattered? I am not saying dont reward those who did win there earlier races (like Jason said, Give them a by to the 2nd round), but dont hurt those who lose by a nose, or have a break down.

All featured classes must be OEM frame. We have not had very much response from the chassis groups in the Chassis and Unlimited class. If these classes do not have better turnouts in 2009, they will be eliminated.

Ok--thanks Tom for a response.

There are only a handful of chassis bikes out there, and from some of the weights I have heard the oem frames weigh....those are comparable or lighter than my chassis bike. For the poweradder class especially, I think the chassis bikes (ATV motored) should be allowed. The weight is not the issue, the oem YFZs and 450rs are weighing the same or less. If I am lucky, mine will end up weighing 280-290lbs and I weigh 185 so combined, at best, will be 465lbs.

I have one, Kenz has one, KMS, Ron has one......there is a DS motored one that Klien racing built.....one other Raptor suspended drag frame that I dont know if it is running. That makes six......so if we all show up at the same time it is still a small class. Might as well eliminate it now.

Having 120hp+ bikes in the poweradder class and not allowing them the safety of building and racing a drag frame doesn't seem logical to me.

Anyway, thanks for hearing me out.
