My first response would be yes it would be allowed. My only concern is the Digitron machine we use to check fuel percentages. I don't want it to red flag you. Let me do some checking on what's in this stuff and I will get back to you. I'm concerned about the 1.04 gravity weight.

Without top lube we can damaged our valves and stuff.. It's just like the lead they put in racefgas.. same purpose.

Hey Eric, Tom is going to do some testing. But from the research I have been doing, is if you make a very small mistake when adding it will cause you to fail the fuel test.I think this would cause some serious issues but we'll see what Toms testing says.Vp, klotz and digitron all say the same thing.

It's ok in the power adder class...throw some nitro in it too.

I think that many of the top lubes are a castor bean oil.

After the research i did tom has decided it is not worth the possible disqualification of a racer. After talking to some of the fuel experts it only takes a very small mistake to be disqualified with the fuel test.In my opinion it is not worth the risk or the headache.

Top end lube is just oil to help protect the motor and fuel system from the harsh nature of methanol; nothing more.

I do know that you make more hp by not running it at all....but if one wants to use it, then it should be completely legal to use.

I can see where those with FI and running methanol would need it the most. (to help with the pump, regulator and injectors).

LIke i said before the top end lube would make you fail the fuel test I checked with all the fuel pro's.I"m fuel injected but the chance for failing the fuel test is to much of a risk .And would open up a huge headache.

If that rule ever extends into the power adder class, there will be one less poweradder bike in the race.
