i know you pretty much have it spelled out on the classes page, but I've never entered or raced so i want to be sure. what I'm bringing is yfz 501 bored and stroked running 110 to 112 octane, lock out clutch, i have a couple tabs cut off fame for plastic mounts nothing major lost the fan, 4+ swing arm. what class would this put me in and how out classed would i be. not that it matters i coming down anyway for the hepq it should be a blast. and i was also wondering if i pull a few parts like bumpers, front brakes, starter and battery, and used an aluminum axle if it would change the class, I'm about 215lbs does the sumo class just rider weight or rider and gear. i wish i knew but i don't know my quads weight with or with these weight reductions. thanks for your time hopefully i gave you enough info to let me know.

sound like you could run builders modified and possibly duners and sumo is the rider you might be able to run pro also depending on the wait of your bike.we have scales there the morning of you could weight yours and then decide what classes.

The 650 and under pro class hasn't taken off like I expected it to. Actually I don't even think anyone has entered it yet. Slowest to fastest would be duner, and then builder and modified. Usually the same bikes run both the builder and modified. Using different fuels.

What all is done to your bike besides the cams? I don't want to discourage you, but these are not your average duners and most have a ton of motor work.

other than the cams i have an after market dual filter set up and a full HMF exhaust and i dropped a tooth on my front sprocket. i know what your saying and i dont want to get into anything where i will be murdered. so is there ANY class that i will fit into where i can actually compete with people?..or is this strictly FULLBLOWN speed stuff?

I am sure someone with chime in here, but have you thought of pulling your cams? You could run bolt on class then, I just don't want you to spend money on a class to find out what it is about and not be competitive.

We are looking to modify the bolt on class for next season, go ahead and register for the bolt-on class and if there aren't enough participants we will group you with the duner's class.

ok ill register for the bolt on class, i really dont want to go through the pain of taking my cams out just to run in a bolt on class no offense. but if i happen to get killed in a class that i dont fit in, the so be it. i can handle defeat ill just have fun with it and run as best as i can.
